Although I already have a larger crock pot for pot roasts and stews, sometimes I just want a three course meal with easy clean-up and don't want to dig out the pots and pans etc. The 2.5 quart stoneware pots are a perfect size for me as a single person. There's enough for a couple of good size meals so I can have my first meal and then put all three pots in the fridge and have the rest the next day for lunch - and THEN do my cleanup :o) (The next day's meal usually gets reheated in the microwave on a porcelain plate that I will be eating on.) If you're a single person, this is a nice 'compilation' of cookware to consider. The individual temperature controls are a nice feature - I like my veggies cooked slowly.Nice unit!
