That info is straight from the manufacturer (I asked).Second, there's already a great review on this product (the MSC-570 verson), which I recommend anyone interested read. It can be found here: Toastess Msc-570 Dgtl Slow Cooker 4qt As for my own review, I've found this to be a fantastic model. What I like about it, as stated in the above linked review, is that it has a lower wattage heating element than models from other companies. The element is also constant output, rather than the variable output found in almost every other slow cooker on the market. But now it was time to find a scaled down model anyway, something more useful for the two of us. When I read the review saying that it cooked at a lower temp, I thought, yeah, this is for me.Well I have only made one meal in it, and it came out perfect, I was very pleased. Cooked a 2 lb pot roast on high for 5 hours, then shredded the beef, cooked on low for 2 hours and let it sit on warm another hour or so. It was perfect. No sign of scorching or burning. It is also... I like everything about this slow cooker: the shape and depth of the crockery insert, the uniform cooking temperature, the ease of clean and aesthetic appeal. |
